I was born in 1974 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I’ve spent my youth in Hellevoetsluis, a small village near the North sea.

I’ve studied Businesses & Information Technology (Bedrijfskundige Informatica)  at the HES Rotterdam. After my study I started working for a relative small IT-company called DSA Services. From there on I moved to the biggest insurance company of the Netherlands: Nationale-Nederlanden. I have worked there for over 11 years now.

In 2008 my daughter Julia was born and we all moved from downtown Rotterdam to the more child friendly village Pijnacker. My 2nd Daughter Mila was born in 2011.

I really like movies (from arthouse to action), music, gadgets and the internet in general. A long time ago I wrote stories. Some of these stories can be found here, still. Recently I’ve been trying to make some time for programming again - just like the old days. These cocoa-endeavors can also be found here.
